Trucks' inspection is an activity carried out by CTD since 2000, towards missions of safety inspection and fleet's audits realised for french or foreign firms.
Then, by decision of 24/06/2003, the transports', the economy and finance's ministers decided to externalise the technical inspection, concerning vehicles of which PTAC is more than 3.5 T, from the state's services to private firms certificated by the state.
This activity was regulated by the decree of 11/06/2004 and of 27/07/2004 modified.
The state sold 134 centers of trucks' inspection.
For this operation, the group CTD formed with others independant firms, an indivision called AUTONOME.
These national consultation leads to the duties of 68 centers to DEKRA's firms, 31 to the indivision AUTONOME and 26 to the AUTOVISION's firms.
Consequently, CTD and all AUTONOME's partners become the 2nd national operator of the truck's inspection.
The group CTD is now involved in trucks' inspections, as well as realise inspections in France and abroad, than organise setting up inspections and fleets' management.
CTD stays at disposal of all persons interested in getting more information about the subject.
Vehicles less than 3.5 t put in service in: October 2004
Lights and others vehicles (CTTE, VASP, taxis, ambulances...) already inspected in October 2006.
